I hope to have MAX soon once price drops or whatever as my mom and I just got rid of the cable today. Plus, I’ve been re-watching clips on YouTube and goddamn. There is some funny shit I missed out the first time around and my mom saw a bit of it and now wants to see the whole film. Especially in watching that monologue from America Ferrera.
I know people loved it but I still feel the same about it. It has its moment but it’s just that – a movie of moments. It has so many holes and it’s tries so hard to get attention that it forgets to tell a cohesive story. As for Ferrera only seems there to deliver her monologue. Not the kind of movie I was expecting from Gerwig.
