  2. Wow, a lot of reviews here! I’d better get cracking. Glad to see someone who watches as many movies as I do 🙂

  3. Glad I found your page! I watch way too many movies as well, so I started writing reviews at the start of this year. You have a really good list here and I like the design and ease of your website 🙂 I look forward to keeping up with your first looks and reviews as the year goes on!

  4. Hi Keith
I really have been enjoying your blog. I particularly enjoyed your review of Loving.
I looked around in your archive and saw you do not have a review of one of my favorite movies. So I am recommending: A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints (2006) with Shia LaBeouf. There is a riveting scene that takes place near the end of the film (bathroom scene) between LaBeouf and Chazz Palminteri that is one of LaBeouf’s greatest moments on screen.
I will be returning to read more.

    • Fantastic! Thanks so much reading and for the movie suggestion. I’ll definitely look that film up. To be honest it’s completely new to me so it should be fun.

  6. Thank you for all the great reviews, so many new movies to watch 🙂
And check out “The Girl and the Spider”, very different, but I loved it.

  7. Thank you for all of the great reviews! So many great movie suggestions to watch now 🙂

  8. Wow, Keith … never knew you reviewed that many movies! You seem to love watching them as much as I do, the good ones anyway.

Not to be nosey but does this site help pay for your viewings or would a site like Rotten Tomatos do that? I figured with how organized and thought out your blog/site is, that you interest different advertisers but wasnt sure if criticism is a full time job for you? Dont worry, I am not competition or even future competition but admire your reviews.

At least when I read your reviews you dont throw out alot of logic tied to irrelevent political correctness or questioning a writer’s vision. At least, not much, anyway.

I also notice you rarely give out a five-star review but alot of four-star reviews where you know you really like a movie but have to try to hold back somewhere. I do that alot myself, where you really cant call out too many perfect films, because the experience can be so subjective.

    Keep up the great work!

    • Thanks so much for the kind words, and a special thanks for reading. I do indeed love movies and probably watch too many of them. 🤣

This site is a personal passion project of mine. I write everything, post myself, and handle all the upkeep, moderation, etc. So it doesn’t pay for viewings. Neither does Rotten Tomatoes as it is simply a review aggregation website. But I do get screeners, screenings, and passes from numerous studios who would like for me to review their films.

You’re right about 5-Star reviews. Everyone’s review scale is different. For me 5 Stars are for movies that are really special to me for different reasons. I probably should loosen up a little there, but it works for me.

      Thanks again for the comments.
