
Well Go USA Entertainment has announced the release of the well-received chiller “Sting” to home video. Writer-director Kiah Roache-Turner taps into a common fear shared by millions around the world – spiders! His film is a delightfully skin-crawling mix of horror-thriller and old-fashioned creature feature. Even better, it has a sense of humor which Roache-Turner slips in at some of the best times. Overall, “Sting” is a creepy, fun-filled feast for horror fans and genre lovers.

Aw, I thought it was for The Sting. I’m not going to see this. I’m afraid of spiders. I think I’ll shit myself watching this.
I’m working on a review of the movie. And yes, if you don’t like spiders…run from this movie! LOL
I’m thinking about having The Sting as a Blind Spot for next year’s series. I wanna be more diverse in old films as well as do something weird as well.
I actually did a Retro Review of it either early this year or last year. Really enjoyed rewatching it after sooo many years.
I understand trying to capitalize on phobias for a horror movie, but I think spiders take a bad rap just like wolves and sharks do in cinema. I am not afraid of spiders and I don’t want to become afraid of them by watching this.
This one won’t drive to to be frightened by spiders if you aren’t already. It’s actually a bit if an old school creature feature with a little horror comedy.
