“Joker: Folie à Deux” is only a couple days away and it looks to be at least as polarizing as the first film. Director Todd Phillips reunites with star Joaquin Phoenix in this direct follow-up to the wildly successful first film. Lots of questions have been asked from people wondering what to expect. Wherever you are with the movie, the film’s promotion has been pretty great, especially the series of posters released over the past year.

Oh I’m there tomorrow. Can’t wait. No press screenings anywhere in the state (😡) so I’ve had to wait.
Spectacle comes to mind. What was that Brad Pitt / Margot Robbie spectacle movie a few years back? Reminds me of how they marketed it. Not super drawn to it, but I will see it at some point.
Was it Babylon? I genuinely despised that movie.
Yes, that’s it. Not a good film, and this has the same feel about it to me. Maybe the two stars can overcome their stardom….
That’s interesting. For me this looks dramatically different. At least I hope it is. LOL
All good but a favorite would be the red poster. as for the movie itself, I have yet to fully appreciate or maybe understand part 1
The first film was one of my very favorites from 2019. Watched it again last night in prep for this one.

They have really went all-out on their poster promotion. Seeing the movie tonight. Reviews are all over the place.
So I gather. Hadn’t realised it’s a musical fantasy thing.
It’s interesting how they have eased off of promoting it as a musical. Fingers crossed.
