Haley Lu Richardson is one of the most exciting young actresses making movies today. Her stand-out work in “Columbus”, “Support the Girls”, and “The Edge of Seventeen” is only the tip of the iceberg for this immensely talented 23-year-old. She has two movies set for 2019, one being the romantic drama “Five Feet Apart”.
The movie follows Stella and Will who are both battling cystic fibrosis. They meet in the hospital during their treatments and develop a touching friendship. Judging by the trailer “Five Feet Apart” could be a real tearjerker. Here’s hoping director Justin Baldoni does it justice.

I saw a trailer for this and I’m sure it looks alright but I have no interest in seeing this other than Haley Lu Richardson who I like a lot.
She is the main reason I’m excited for it. I think she is a phenomenal young actress and I’ve liked her movie choices so far. Fingers crossed.
Haley Lu Richardson is such a great actress with quite some range, as shown in her roles in Columbus and Support the Girls. This, however, doesn’t look particularly good. Looks like a tearjerking cheesefest. Hoping for the best, though 🙂
I don’t know. I think it could be that, but I’ve liked the roles she has chosen for herself so far. I’m hoping she has made another good decision here. We shouldn’t have to wait long.
meh. I guess after spending all day with teenagers in the classroom, the last thing I want is to watch them on screen. I’m jaded.

Ha Ha! I understand. I think Richardson is already an insanely talented and diverse actress. She’s kinda in that spot where I feel I should see whatever she does.

Oh yes. Fanning is such an interesting actress.
I adore Haley Lu but this looks exactly like The Fault in Our Stars.
She has become a favorite of mine. I’m hoping she picked another good role. But it could very well be ‘one of those’ movies.
