Movie Poster Spotlight: David Fincher’s “The Killer”

David Fincher’s “The Killer” premieres TODAY on Netflix and it should immediately be put near the top of your queue. Michael Fassbender gives a lights-out turn as a cold, calculated, and extremely efficient hitman who finds himself breaking his own rules to pay back those who have turned against him. Not only is the smart and stylish action-thriller one of 2023’s best movies, it also features what might be my favorite movie posters to release this year.

So make plans to watch “The Killer” this weekend (you can read my full review HERE). In the meantime, check out the three stunning posters designed by Neil Kellerhouse and illustrated by James Patterson.

  1. I would totally see this once I get whatever issues with Netflix sorted as my sister told my mom about this new limited series with Mark Ruffalo by that hack Shawn Levy but we can’t do anything and my sister is the one with the Netflix account but she’s been acting like a bitch lately.

  2. Just finished watching it. Kind of surprised at the ending but am ok with it. He’s good and having him speak with an American accent was to his benefit. Like I had hoped, a palate cleanser, no pun intended from a prior role. I think I like his scenes with Tilda best.

  3. Really enjoyed this one. Fassbender is great. An ideal “star name” for Fincher to work with. Just fits perfectly with the world’s Fincher creates. And this is my favourite Fincher film since Zodiac.
