Movie Poster Spotlight: “Dune”

Today was a cool day for those of us eagerly anticipating Denis Villeneuve’s “Dune” remake. Today Warner Bros. released NINE new character posters and they look amazing. They also show off the unreal amount of talent set to appear in this nearly $200 million movie. Check ’em out.

Sounds like you enjoyed the novel? It’s one I’ve always wanted to start but have kept putting off.

  I did actually! More than I thought I would! If you do dive in, it takes a few chapters to really start heating up so don’t give up on it too quickly 🙂

Going with Momoa as Duncan Idaho as my favorite. And Zendaya for the women. These are amazing. Really feeling the anticipation building now. And I haven’t even read the book!

I haven’t read it either and remember nothing about the original movie. I decided not to rewatch the earlier film and look forward to going in blind.

Yes Momoa as Duncan Idaho, inspired casting. I so hope it lives up to the book. I would have thought it would fair better as a high end mini series as per GOT as it’s so complex, but I’ll give it a shot.

OH HELL YEAH!!!!! I just hope it’s fucking incredible but also insane. I still wished it had some of the insane ideas of Alejandro Jodorwsky’s version that never got made. Orson Welles as Baron Harkkonen is inspiring plus he was going to do the movie all because Jodorowsky was going to hire the chef at Welles’ favorite French restaurant to cook exclusively for him.
