Considered by many to be Quentin Tarantino’s seminal classic, “Pulp Fiction” took the world by storm when it released in the early fall of 1994. And while it isn’t my favorite QT movie, it’s influence is hard to overstate. It also had one of the coolest and most recognized posters perhaps of all-time. It’s one many of you can probably picture in your mind without it needing to be described. But just as a reminder, take a look at this gem.

It may not be in my top 5 films by QT but dammit, it is still a masterpiece in cinema. I grew up on Tarantino. I will not allow any slander on Tarantino and if anyone says anything about Django Unchained. Someone will be in a room with me and will not be walking out that room. It’s not just about the film but it’s about my dad. That was one of the last movies he saw before he passed and thought it was one of the best movies he had ever seen.
Those types of connections to movies last forever, don’t they?
Agreed. My father was late to the party as far as QT is concerned but man, to see him enjoy Django Unchained made that film even more special.
That’s so cool. I love true stories like that. I really do think people who may not love movies the way we do undervalue the connections that provide us.
Will The Wiggles Movie be in the next movie poster spotlight?
Prolly not.

I enjoyed this movie and was happy to see John Travolta in something really good (besides that baby movie). It had been a while for him and to me felt like it was some sort of comeback, and once this one released he had a run of entertaining movies. Samuel L Jackson was himself to the 10th degree. And Rosanna Arquette was the icing on the cake. My favorite exchange was about the pig, that was hilarious.
Yep, this was definitely a major comeback for Travolta and let to host of new roles for him. It was good to see.
