Her story was amazing and utterly tragic at the same time. For me she has the most amazing voice of all the so called divas of that era and in my opinion, her voice is the best female voice I’ve ever heard . Her vocal command was unbelievable. Her life sadly unfolded in ways that I wish could have been avoided . Needless to say I’m no fan of one Bobby Brown . I’ll be checking this out .

I don’t know. I like Kasi Lemmons as a filmmaker but I feel like the story is cliched like every other bio-pic that has come out in recent years. “Get out of here Dewey! You don’t wanna a part of this shit!”
I haven’t reviewed the actual movie yet. But it’s worth checking out.
I think I’ll end up seeing this as Phil is a Whitney fan.
