Paramount has dropped several new character posters in preparation for the upcoming release of “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts”. The $200 million blockbuster based the Hasbro toy line is the seventh installment in the Transformers film franchise and the first since 2018’s spin-off prequel “Bumblebee”. Directed by Steven Caple Jr., “Rise of the Beasts” is said to be a sequel to “Bumblebee” and will have a tone more in line with it than the previous Michael Bay led films.
With the new posters Paramount gives us a cool introduction to some the exciting characters we will meet – a few old friends; and a few new faces. “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts” releases exclusively in theaters on June 9th. (All images courtesy of Paramount Pictures).
Mmmm… I don’t know. I really hated those Michael Bay films. I get dizzy watching those films. I still haven’t seen Bumblebee though the trailer for this film at least has scenes where you get a sense of what is going on.
This is definitely following Bumblebee which I liked a lot better than the Bay movies.
I notice no actors named on the posters, meaning no big name. I had to look it up, Pete Davidson, a curious choice for a leading man. Probably says quite a bit about the tone of the picture.
There are actually some pretty good names attached. Anthony Ramos is the leading guy. It also has Ron Pearlman, Michelle Yeoh, and Dominique Fishback. I’m intrigued.
Love those! Transformers still remind me of Micronauts. I wish they’d make a movie about them, that would be awesome!
Hey I remember the Micronauts!
Cool posters.
Aren’t they? I like when studios do these.
