As many of you know, I’m a sucker for cool character posters. And A24 has recently released some of my very favorites for their upcoming sci-fi action-horror film “Onslaught”. Directed by Adam Wingard, the film heavily channels a late 70s and early 80s grindhouse style. That pulpy, violent exploitation DNA can be seen all through the trailers and now with the eight recently released movie posters.

“Onslaught” stars Adria Arjona who plays Celeste, an Army sniper struggling to raise her daughter in a small trailer park community. But when three genetically engineered super-soldiers escape from a nearby secret military facility, Celeste will be forced to use all of her combat skills to fend off the terrifying and murderous threats. Wingard goes for the jugular with this brutal and brawny action-slasher. If you want a taste, just check out red-band trailer and you’ll know what I mean.

The six new character posters look as if they’ve been yanked right off of a grindhouse theater wall. You can see the folds in the paper, the marketing of violence, and the campy B-movie taglines. They feature some of the film’s electric cast that includes Dan Stevens, Alex Pereira, Michael Biehn, Rebecca Hall, Reginald VelJohnson, and more.
